During the time Adalia Teros'yai was missing Merugo took over the running of the Silverleaf Bookshop in Heidabyr. He provided information to those seeking Adalia about a book recovered from her collapsed home. This was the Book of Ancient Horrors, a tome that contained information of of some of the darkest and most obscure of the ancient devils and was a undead creature itself. It was speculated that Adalia had the book because she had sought to learn more of Ah'nari.

Merugo also aided these adventurers by translating portions of a book that appeared to have been transcribed from a demon bound book.

Once Adalia was rescued Merugo left to attend to his own business again.
